Sometimes life gets busy, especially with little ones in the home. There are some excellent fitness Apps designed specifically for mothers. Prices vary, so you’ll have to do your homework.

Peloton

The Peloton is an all-in-one, a bit of everything fitness app. The app allows users to filter classes by the amount of type, instructor, class type, and music for personalization.

The app features cycling, indoor/outdoor running and walking, pilates, strength training, dance cardio, stretching, and meditation. You are offered a free, 30-day trial. If you like it, there is a monthly cost of $12.99.

Sculpt Society

This app is excellent for low-impact, strength, and dance cardio fitness. Classes are described as being fun and easy to follow. The instructors do an incredible job of motivating users.

Don Saladino’s Playbook App

The Playbook App is a Gold Standard for those who prefer to keep things simple. You won’t find any bells or whistles, but excellent workouts guided by Don Saladino's celebrity trainer.  For only $15 a month, momma can get their rears in gear!

Obé Fitness

This fitness app keeps things short, sweet, and simple. There’s little equipment required. Obé offers a free trial. Once members sign up, it costs about $27 a month. Strength training is the main focus, and there’s a hub for postnatal workouts.

Sweat

Sweat is a top-rated fitness app for moms. There are different workout programs based on your type of equipment, fitness level, and personal fitness goals. The Sweat website explains what equipment is used  and some substitutions that work. It’s only $19.99 a month; it’s totally worth it.

Calm

The Calm app offers a monthly plan for $14.99 or an annual plan for $69.99. This app focuses on using meditation practices to help strengthen our mental and emotional health. Filter by session time, instructors, and the option to have sleep stories told before bed. It’s a mental relief, which is as essential as physical health.

Madeline Moves

Madeline is a personal trainer that uploads videos for every exercise. Moms can find guides featuring bands and body weight or gym-based programs. Set up your home-based gym and get to work.

Alo Moves

Alo Moves is an excellent app for moms who love or are interested in yoga. While it’s not as easy to filter as other apps, it offers a solid selection of yoga, strength, barre-based workouts, and mindfulness classes. The Alo App is $20 a month or $199 annually.

Consider this a gateway to the many pre-natal and post-pregnancy fitness apps available for moms. You can work out in the comfort of your own home, with your baby nestled in their bed and the app running in the background. Your little one/’s are going to depend on your health and fitness; the sooner you start getting back in shape, the better.
